Listenup Audio Books Completed!

ListenUp Audio Books has recently completed their new facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Grammy¬†and Emmy award winning ListenUp has begun booking sessions in the new studios. Harper Hug designed the facility with owner Chris Fogg for his established audio book business. Palm Springs Condo Renovation!

The Hug Co. recently completed a renovation of a quintessential 1970’s palm springs condominium. The unit was completely stripped to the studs so that the unit could be ADA compliant and the plumbing and electrical could be brought up to date. The renovation included a new kitchen, (2) fitted bathrooms, recesed led lighting, fitted closets, energy-efficient hvac system, hardwood floors, and a wet bar. New Studio Design!

The Hug Co has just completed the design phase for a new multi-room facility in Long Beach, Ca. The lower level with feature (2) large frame automated Solid State logic consoles. The upper level will house (2) additional writing studios, offices, and a lounge overlooking the main tracking area. The facility features large open spaces and 20′ ceilings in the tracking room and lobby areas. We hope to see the client breaking ground on the project soon!

Recording Consoles

The Hug Co is surrently restoring and prepping two incredible mixing consoles at their Palm Springs facility. The first is a 72 channel Neve VR from the famed Westlake Audio in LA. The other is a vintage MCI 428 with a warm transformer sound. The Neve VR72 is scheduled to be installed in the mix room of R+D Records in Glendale, Ca.
